Wickham Park, Manchester, Connecticut


If you haven't visited Connecticut's iconic Wickham Park, here are some tips to know before you go.


There is a fee to get in and they don't take cards so have some cash on you ($7 weekdays, $9 weekends)


Wickham Park is massive and you could spend hours walking around but still not discover it all


Wickham Park is only open in the Spring, Summer, and Fall, it is not open in the winter


Wickham Park is a perfect place for family photos in Connecticut

There are several playground scattered throughout the park


Don't miss the sensory garden near the main playground and the bird sanctuary. It sometimes has a train set running.


There is a bird sanctuary where you can buy food for 25 cents and feed them (a perfect reward for good behavior at the end of your family photo session)


And of course it's acres of impeccable manicured gardens are the perfect spot for you next family photo session
